Next to the library, the highlight in the museum area is the treasury. It is furnished with decorative wall paintings and towering cabinets which hold the votive gifts donated by pilgrims.
Here, everything may be found that recalls the pilgrims' misfortunes, such as needles, knives and other objects which caused injuries, hair which was presented in gratitude as well as wax tapers and crowns, spoons, relics, figures and much more. The treasury is connected to the church by a large window which offers a lovely view of the church interior.
The centrepiece of the decoration is the "Schatzkammerbild" (treasury image), a Baroque copy of the image of the Virgin Mary which was used during the procession of the pilgrims into the church.
